Email hello@trytrakr.com. A person reads it, and you will normally hear back within two working days.
If you are reporting something going wrong, it helps enormously to say which iPhone and which iOS version you are on, and what you were doing at the time. If it was a specific run, the date and rough time of that run is usually enough to find it.
My run stopped recording partway
Almost always this is location permission. Trakr needs Always access rather than "While Using", because iOS treats a locked screen as not using the app. Open iOS Settings → Trakr → Location, and check Precise Location is on as well — without it the route is accurate to a few hundred metres, which is no use for a run.
If iOS ended the app mid-run, Trakr recovers what it had when you next open it. The run will be waiting rather than lost.
My distance looks wrong
GPS needs a minute of open sky to settle. Starting a run indoors, in a stairwell, or under heavy tree cover gives the first few hundred metres a wobble that inflates the total. Give it a moment outside before you tap start.
I cannot hear the voice coaching
Check the coaching setting is on in Settings, and that your phone is not on silent — Trakr respects the ring switch. It ducks music rather than pausing it, so if your music is loud the announcement can get lost underneath it.
Heart rate is missing
Heart rate comes from Apple Health, which means it comes from an Apple Watch or a paired monitor. If you ran with a watch and still see nothing, open the Health app → Sharing → Apps → Trakr and check heart rate is allowed. iOS asks for each data type separately, and it is easy to allow one and not another.
I have forgotten my password
Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen. A reset link is emailed to you. If it has not arrived after a few minutes, check your spam folder — and check the address is the one you signed up with, which for Sign in with Apple may be a private relay address rather than your usual one.
If you know your password and simply want a new one, that is in Settings → Account → Change password.
Something in the community feed needs dealing with
Every post and comment has a report option, and you can block an account outright from their profile. Blocking is immediate and mutual: you disappear from each other's feeds. Reports are read.
I want my data, or I want it gone
Deleting your account is in Settings, and it deletes everything — runs, posts, profile, photos. There is no waiting period. If you would rather have a copy of it first, email hello@trytrakr.com and ask.
What Trakr keeps and why is set out in full on the privacy page.
